A patient records system serving 22 clinics, built to work over intermittent connectivity.

Clinics in the network had been keeping paper records because previous digital systems assumed a reliable internet connection they did not have.

Approach

We built an offline-first application that queues changes locally and reconciles when a connection returns, with conflict resolution designed around how clinicians actually work.

Outcome

  • 22 clinics live within nine months
  • Average patient lookup time down from 6 minutes to under 10 seconds
  • Zero data loss across 14 months of operation
